Tarotscope for month of Feb 2013

Love & Romance:

Hierophant + Strength 
Hierophant in love position actually suggests commitment or traditional relationship values like marriage, loyalty etc. The Strength on other hand is lust & physical passion. These two cards initially looked very opposite to me. Only later after pondering over this for sometimes I realised that Hierophant is also a teacher or an advisor. A person who helps you understand the deeper meaning of something. This person may or may not be a Taurus sign or one with a strong Taurus in his/her chart. The Strength is soft-control or being tolerant & compassionate towards others.
So this is a person who is teaching me to be tolerant & compassionate towards others. This person is probably a strong supporter of traditional values & a belief system.
After meditating on the cards for few seconds I have come across a statement which relaxes me (It happens when I know that I know what the combo is telling me). Our traditional values tell us that women are naturally more soft & compassionate than men. This combo here is telling me that by being soft, it doesn't mean I'm out of control or giving up. It simply means what I'm unable to handle with force & aggression  I should be able to handle the same with love & kindness.

Home & Family:

Six of Cups + Page of Pentacles
Nostalgia/childhood memories + A student

I like the way Page looks closely at the coin, as if observing it too closely. This combo here tells me that there is something I need to learn from my childhood memories. I have some issues with family this month, I can already see situation worsening sometimes in this month. It simply tells me that I have to look back & see where the problem lies, in my childhood.

Work & Finances:

Seven of Pentacles + Ace of Pentacles

This combo is exactly from Tarotscope for November in same position. At that time I was offered an intern ship at a bank right after my exams. I can tell that something smaller, like a bottom-level job or a new job which doesn't pay as well as my expectations (since its an Ace) but there is a potential for increase. The energy of Ace is very short-lived. I must grasp the opportunity. The Seven of Pentacles however suggests there will be sometimes before the opportunity arrives.

This reading was done this morning for Honey & Zee who are right now in a friend-lovers zone and zee basically doesn't know where things are heading.

I did a simple Past, Present, Future spread using two cards for each position.

Past:
Seven of Pentacles and Wheel of Fortune

We see a stand-still, a waiting period which was probably destined to happen because of the presence of wheel of Fortune. When this card Wheel of Fortune appears, I just take it as a sign from Gods that whatever is happening is not upto you. There is a higher power involved. The Seven of Pentacles is a time when you are waiting for the success to arrive and the fruits of your labour to appear. Things move slow with Pentacles but there is an indication of success if patience is exercised.This combo also indicates waiting for a change of events.

She confirmed that relationship went from strangers to indifferent to hate to friendship to "soft" feelings. The progress has been and is pretty slow but she sees improvement.

Present:
Seven of wands and Five of Pentacles

Seven of Wands is basically struggle, where you are usually on the top of the situation. The presence of Five of Pentacles tells me that probably both of them are more occupied with their financial situation and are fighting on that front right now, which is why the relationship is not exactly going anywhere yet.

She confirmed that they both are right now in that state of mind where finances are the major worry.

Future:
Knight of Cups & Ten of Cups

The best possible outcome ever! Knight of Cups is the sensitive, romantic lover who can take on the world to save his princess and Ten of Cups is the happy ever after card. Since the Knight can represent a proposal too, I think they might be on a more stable ground to consider emotions, love, happiness and possibly a family together in future. For timing, I will consider the Summer season important as both cards in the future position are Cups and I associate Cups with Summer.

There are Two Sevens in the reading which means inner wisdom and going within is important in this relationship. Two Sevens also indicate self-confidence issues.

There is missing suit of Swords which is the suit of thinking, logic and communication. The missing suit indicates the missing energy from relationship is logical thinking, which by the way is no surprise since this is a love reading, and communication is what needs to be focused more on!

The Moon & Eight of Wands:

It looks like the illusions and being unable to see through the illusions from last month, I will finally be able to put an end to that. Things will be coming to conclusion.

This is right, I have gone from being delusional to being practical to knowing & realizing answers. The 8 of Wands is also a card of communication which has been on the roll lately.I think, now at the end of the month, I know what I want from my relationships.

Home & Family:

 

King of Pentacles & Four of Swords:

I see a man who is Earth sign and financially very stable (can be my father or brother, they both are good with money & have strong Earth personalities) shall be withdrawing & resting. I'm just getting worried if it means my brother/dad will be getting ill.

No one fell ill, which is a great news, but I have actually got a big inspiration to prepare myself for the responsibilities ahead.

Work & Finances:

Seven of Pentacles & Ace of Pentacles:
There is time before success and a new financial beginning arrives. The cards for work look really good this time around. The Ace of Pentacles for this position really suggest a new beginning, a new job with small salary or wages, but there is a strong potential for growth. The seven of Pentacles is the time for waiting.

THIS was the highlight of my month. When I saw the Ace of Pentacles, I knew some opportunity was coming up for me & it did. I have had an offer, an opportunity. Its a small one but with Aces you cannot expect something bigger, but something smaller with a chance of getting bigger. This is what I'm hoping & aiming for.

Celtic Cross reading

This reading is done for a friend J who is going through some uncertain complicated circumstances in her relationship with an overly-obsessed lover.

1. The Situation as it is now:

This card appears when things are miserable, but there is hope and a desire for betterment. There is no disappointment with this card, there is a sense of optimism. There is a quest for something better and you are willing to take the risk of leaving the imperfect things behind.

2. Obstacles and Challenges

Financial and material issues seem important in this relationship. Aces are also the beginnings and Pentacles are the financial and practical matters. So there is a financial opportunity or the lack of it which is the challenge here.Starting afresh and that too with lot of practicality is needed.

3. Root of the matter: what caused this situation:

A stand-still and wait and see has led to this situation. There is nothing happening, things are not going anywhere and this is causing all the frustration. This explains why the Ace, a beginning, is the challenge. The status quo needs to be changed.

Things have been the best they can be in the past. We may also say the best days are over now. It was like a dream come true, and now you have woke up.

This is a motherly, nurturing woman who is very sensitive & caring. As the immediate future,it looks like things will improve a lot in their relationship soon enough.

There will be strength to tolerate and patiently handle each other. There is a lot of strength coming in too making the bond stronger. One of the partners might go a little wild but the other has strength to handle it.

There is a sense of betrayal and deception which is planned and imposed on the situation. In the end you might end up asking yourself what have I done and was it worth it?

There is a serious lack of Wands in this suit so there is no action going on. There are 4 Pentacles so things will go very slow. The future looks good for her in either case, if she stays or leaves, but the outcome suggests its better to learn the lesson and move on.

Theme of the week:

The Seven of Wands as the theme looks like a tough week ahead. My keyword for this card is struggle. We see this man working with full force. His face gives it all. He is determined to get his work done. I will probably be struggling a lot in this week. 

I actually felt physically drained this week. so much tiring stuff to do & dehydration on top. I was also struggling with my emotions going all over the place.

What will occupy me the most:

Ace of Wands as what will occupy me tells me there is a lot of creative energy and physical power and passion going on. I have started a new gym routine which is why I see myself occupied with taking more care of myself this week. This is also marking of a new beginning, and the wands are creative. This card gives me lots of creative power so I will probably be busy creating some new energy in me, to make myself happy.

Most of my time was making something new, bringing some fresh changes in my routine , taking steps to ensure my life gets back on track, starting tests are oDesk, keeping a check on project development, trying to put my emotions in check. everything.
What will be ignored the most:

In this picture, the man is standing in a position as if he is trying to make a decision what to do next. The suit if of Pentacles which means this is related to the material things. I need to make a decision what I have to do in terms of my career (seriously) but I'm just waiting and it looks like I will totally be ignoring this fact that I need to make a decision, what to do next? The position says this is important but it will be ignored. So means I have to make sure I do not ignore this.

I have ignored this aspect, decision making, trying to figure out where to head next.

Actions that need to taken:

Cutting the crap and seeing truth and things clearly. This Ace is the symbol for mental clarity. There are things which have not been making any sense for last two weeks, so this week I need to cut through the crap and look at things more logically.

Yes, I did this. I took an initiative and I tried my best to make sense out of things which were not clear in last week. They are pretty clear now if not entirely crystal.

Ignore this:

I tend to look at the court cards as people instead of feelings or situations or actions. The Queen of Wands is  a fire sign woman, or a woman with fire dominating in her chart. She is party animal, she is where the fun is. She is going on ignore list this week.

This woman can be my aunt I can say. she was trying to spend lot of time with me this week but she had to stay back because of so many Aces with their raw power surrounding me:D

Advice to make the most:

Knight is again a court card but since it is the advice position, I think this card tells me to go on my quest for my feelings, my dreams and my intuition. The knight is moving ahead, slowly, with a cup in his hand, as if guided by his feelings. I need to let my intuition speak louder to me.

I was actually being more sensitive towards sharing my & other people's feelings this week. It was also someone who is younger than me trying to communicate with me,and I was helping him out.

Outcome:

This card tells me I will be more dwelling on the past, and be more pessimistic than usual. There is a good side to this card, that it helps you realize what's still there instead of what has gone wrong.

Well I did find a little disappointment at the end of the week but I'm hopeful. Not all hope is lost (see the two cups still standing).
