A happy ending!

This reading was done this morning for Honey & Zee who are right now in a friend-lovers zone and zee basically doesn't know where things are heading.

I did a simple Past, Present, Future spread using two cards for each position.

Past:
Seven of Pentacles and Wheel of Fortune

We see a stand-still, a waiting period which was probably destined to happen because of the presence of wheel of Fortune. When this card Wheel of Fortune appears, I just take it as a sign from Gods that whatever is happening is not upto you. There is a higher power involved. The Seven of Pentacles is a time when you are waiting for the success to arrive and the fruits of your labour to appear. Things move slow with Pentacles but there is an indication of success if patience is exercised.This combo also indicates waiting for a change of events.

She confirmed that relationship went from strangers to indifferent to hate to friendship to "soft" feelings. The progress has been and is pretty slow but she sees improvement.

Present:
Seven of wands and Five of Pentacles

Seven of Wands is basically struggle, where you are usually on the top of the situation. The presence of Five of Pentacles tells me that probably both of them are more occupied with their financial situation and are fighting on that front right now, which is why the relationship is not exactly going anywhere yet.

She confirmed that they both are right now in that state of mind where finances are the major worry.

Future:
Knight of Cups & Ten of Cups

The best possible outcome ever! Knight of Cups is the sensitive, romantic lover who can take on the world to save his princess and Ten of Cups is the happy ever after card. Since the Knight can represent a proposal too, I think they might be on a more stable ground to consider emotions, love, happiness and possibly a family together in future. For timing, I will consider the Summer season important as both cards in the future position are Cups and I associate Cups with Summer.

There are Two Sevens in the reading which means inner wisdom and going within is important in this relationship. Two Sevens also indicate self-confidence issues.

There is missing suit of Swords which is the suit of thinking, logic and communication. The missing suit indicates the missing energy from relationship is logical thinking, which by the way is no surprise since this is a love reading, and communication is what needs to be focused more on!

This is the question I got & I just want you to know that I do not use reversals. Its been one year but I'm not comfortable with reversals yet, but I will try to come up with an interpretation.

Here is the spread.

1. Your motivation – The first card shows you the real underlying reason for your desire to reconnect. It indicates if you want them back to soothe a bruised ego or if there is true love there. It tells you if you feel that you didn’t learn all you needed to learn or if you are just struggling with letting go.

Two of Cups Reversed;

You have issues with accepting love, letting it happen, & opening yourself to love. This person in question can be a reason for this blockage & this is why you want them back, because you believe they will help you open yourself to love again. This card also indicates lack of commitment Make sure you do not have commitment phobia & that is why you want this person just because they are not commitment oriented & that feels safer in a way. May be he is just not available enough & you just want him to satisfy your ego. Not a very good reason to want them back if they are emotionally not available to you.

2. & 3. What you had – These two cards represent the relationship dynamic you had in the past and sheds further light on the first card.

High Priestess Reversed & Nine of Wands

The High Priestess reversed tells that you have failed to listen to your heart and trust your gut in this relationship before & this has been happening because of you being too defensive about your feelings. It might be because you suffered a bad relationship/break up before this guy & you were just not willing to open yourself up to love & romance after that. You were just not listening to your heart. You needed to trust your gut & face your fears head on. I believe this explain why you want him back now, mainly because the feelings you had for him, you were not able to let them out or express yourself the first time around (Two of Cups Reversed).

4. The handle – This card shows you what action you would need to take to reconnect. A card such as The Hanged Man shows that it won’t matter what you do, you’ll just have to surrender and wait for the future to unfold. The Lovers Reversed

Again a fear of commitment or a fear of going the next step. It just indicates that you need to shift the path of your relationship by expressing your true feelings. A struggling relationship does not mean it has to end. You just need to find the willingness to express your personal truth and make the best decision for yourself and your relationship. Just make sure you know that you want this person for the right reasons.

5. The lock – This is the main challenge/obstacle that lies between you and your AWOL lover.

STOP running away from your fears. This card can also be a warning that this person in question is not telling you all truth. There is always a hint of deception and trickery with this card.This is the obstacle, you have to be true to yourself first, & then you will be able to see it in other people too.

Queen of Pentacles reversed

I believe there is a hidden desire in you to express your sensitivity & this is leading to this situation. The Queen can also be another woman involved in this situation, making you want him bad, someone who is not affecting you directly, but rather indirectly, a friend with successful relationship, someone who is successfully happy in a romantic relationship & it makes you realize you need to finish your business with your ex.

7. 8. & 9. What lies on the other side of the door – If you know that it is best not to push through, you’ll at least have some idea of what is happening there and why things are best left alone. He could have moved on emotionally or he could be struggling with stuff that you can’t help him with.

With its appearance in a love Tarot reading, there may be a need to take stock in your relationship. This is the time to ask yourself if your partner is worth the commitment. After all, every relationship will have its highs and lows. The true question you need to ask yourself is if you value your partner and relationship enough to work through the difficult times.

Six of Swords

The Wheel of Fortune as card one shows that there has been some fateful event, some thing that happened out of the control of both persons involved and this has brought a crucial matter up. The wheel of Fortune is a change, a movement and a next chapter card. There are some big changes happening in the relationship.

The way these two people relate to each other is very different. One person is compassionate and understanding while the other person is trying to be the master-mind and Mr. know-it-all. Magician is also someone who cons other people but he has vast mental power. We see infinity sign on both cards, they both have limitless energy in this relationship. The Magician is also the powerful and the controlling one, the master at his game. 

On the whole the relationship looks deep and mysterious. Things are not completely revealed yet. There is a great effect of going with intuition and following one's guts here. Overall the relationship looks serene and composed but who knows what lies behind the curtain.

Cards 5 & 6 shows they both want, hope and desire same thing, change, adventure, a new outlook. Both 6 of Swords and Page of Wands are the cards of adventure and leaving things behind and moving on. But If we look closely, they both are moving in opposite direction.

This card Ace of Wands shows there is a new beginning and the raw power and the energy is becoming difficult to handle for both individuals. 

The person 1 is taking the confrontation door to solve this issue while the other person is playing mysterious and cold here. The shadow of the Devil behind the sleeping lovers shows that this person does not want to confront the situation, he wants to play dark and illusive. He wants to remain a slave to some illusion he has created about the dynamics of this relationship in which things are happy and content and he is the master.

Looking at the people, person 1 is very understanding and compassionate in the relationship but her actions are too child-like. She wants kiddish stuff. To solve the problem she wants to confront the problem heads on.

The guy in the situations is powerful and he believes he can make the relationship go in any direction he wants. He hopes and seeks a change in his life through this relationship but he does not want to solve the problem, he rather wants to stay a slave to his illusions.

The Two of Wands is usually a stubborn person who is waiting for something to arrive This aspect of the relationship needs to change.This is the card of personal power and both individuals need to realize that relationship is not about their personal power play.

The differences can be resolved by putting an end to the older themes and patterns of the relationship. The 10 of Swords calls for an end to old habits and behaviors.

Card 12: Crucial Insight; additional advice or outcome.

Ace of Swords in this position shows that there will be a new fresh start, with a clear understanding of the relationship. This is also a card of mental clarity which will be the essence of the relationship if the advice is followed.

Overall we have 5 majors, 4 wands and 3 swords. There are two aces.

A majority of major arcana reveals that there are things which are out of control of the querent. A majority of wands on querent 1's side shows she is more hasty and impulsive. The suit of Cups is missing and also Pentacles. There is a lack of emotional understanding and a lack of practicality. Things are just heated up and blowing and will cool off shortly.

Wheel of Fortune

My one card a day study is going well and its my 3rd day today and I'm pulling a major everyday so far.

The card I pulled today is:

This card is one card which I used to pull a lot when I was going through a transition phase in my life. This card is all about destiny, which is out of your hands. This is why this card is a wheel up in clouds, beyond your control. When this card appears you know that things are not in your control.

One main theme associated with this card is change and an unavoidable change in situation. This change will not be sudden like The Tower, it will be gradual. The Wheel of Fortune will spin and things will change for you. What is down may go up and what is up now may go down,it can be either of the two cases.

The Wheel is a symbol which describes our life. Life goes in cycles, neither the good times nor the bad times last forever. Besides that the spinning of the wheel can be associated with movement forward. Overall it is a positive card because it assures there is a change in the situation coming.

Numerological association: 10 = 1 which is the card of beginnings, invention and creativity.

Week 12

I started my weekly draw with Tarot by drawing 7 cards and looking at them as a story.

Deck: Tower - Wheel of Fortune - Two of Pentacles - Emperor - Queen of Swords - Eight of Cups - Seven of Swords

The Emperor in the middle is like an emphasis on structure and organizing stuff this week.

The story is like there is some disruption because of an interruption of fate which brings too much on my plate, so I need to organize things and the clouds in Queen's card show some mental ambiguities which will make me search the missing part, wanting an escape while still being tied to what's left behind.

There are 3 cards from Major Arcana, looks like things are not really in my hands. The Swords are dominant among the minor arcana suits and this is an emphasis on analytical thinking and with mercury retrograde, the Seven of Swords looks like being haunted by thoughts from past, from which I find an escape. The suit of Wands is entirely missing which emphasises the Mars retrograde, and that leaves me totally dull and without any drive to act.

fate at work!

Today's card:

This card talks about the fate at work. This card tells us there is a new chapter turning up and time does not remain the same forever, things change when the Wheel of Fortune turns. The Wheel is in the clouds, like its something happening in the skies, not the Earth, something out of our control.

This is exactly what happened. I was working till 4:30am to complete my project document and next day when I opened the online management system for submitting it, I  encountered an error which stated I could not open my account and only Administrator could do that. I was too late in submission. This was definitely bad luck because I was ready with my document and I was all set to submit within due date, but I just ran out of luck!

Line of Five (Updated)

I looked at this kind of reading on the Cartomancy Forum and decided to do one for myself.
This reading focuses on my love life and rest of the February.

Six of Swords - Four of Pentacles - Wheel of Fortune - Page of Cups - Five of Swords

The first card shows a person moving away from something, in a boat. The way, posture, position the person is sitting is really well depicting my current situation. I'm trying to move on from the things in past, rather regretting and grieving about the events in the past. This looks good that I will move away from it.

The Four of Pentacles shows a person who is grabbing or holding tightly onto something that belongs to him. He is even isolating himself from the city (buildings behind). The coins are placed in a way which shows he has blocked his heart and head. Nothing is going in and nothing is coming out. This is my current situation.

The central card, Wheel of Fortune used to appear a lot for me when I was undergoing huge transformations in my life. The Wheel of Fortune, if starts spinning, brings new chapters and new events in life. This card at the centre shows a hint of change coming up.

Page of Cups is a naive individual , someone probably younger than me, who is emotionally naive and very unstable. The water in the background shows his easily influenced nature. This man might be someone important.

Five of Swords is a mean card. This card shows that not every defeat is a victory for the other.Sometimes we use harsh words and a difficult attitude just to beat the other person, by logic or by words, but that is not the real victory if we end up hurting them in an irreparable way.

Overall, this looks like I will move away from what I have been holding on to, a new journey begins, specially supported by Wheel of Fortune. There can be a lesson learnt through a naive emotional person (boy or girl) whom I might end up hurting.

The missing suit is the suit of Wands. There will be a lack of action in next 1.5 weeks.With Mars retro, I'm no surprised.

Update: It was really accurate.  I was not as depressed as I was in early February. I was instead happy and relieved by the end of Feb. The Wheel of Fortune helped me moving on and I started taking things more naively and with a greater strength.
