Andy recently posted a spread on his blog here which is basically, about what, when & how of "when will I meet the one".

1. Why you've not found love/partner.

Ten of Swords:

This card has appeared for me more often than any other card in a love reading. Basically this card talks about ending,  completion & you have hit the rock bottom. Its been longer than 3yrs now & somehow, mentally I'm still getting over it. 

This card can literally mean feeling like a victim. Although I do admit my mistakes when I look back & talk about my past, I do admit my mistakes & I did learn a lot from them. Somehow I am still not ready to get up, pull the swords out of my back & move on. I have to get out of this self-pity like approach in love.

2. How to overcome any issues in card one.

Queen of Pentacles:

This Queen, unlike the Queen of Wands (Fire) is very serious about relationships. she does not believe in short-term flings or just flirting with anyone. She is the woman who would protect her King, make a home with him, serve him breakfast every morning & make babies with him. 

This Queen may also be a woman, other than myself, who can help me with overcoming my fear of "failing" my next relationship. I usually do not make friends with Earth signs, although I have lot of Earth in me, but this woman can be an example for me, how to make a relationship successful.

3. What is the most positive thing you can do now.

Four of Pentacles:

This is the card I used to describe my ex actually. This man in this picture actually often reminded me of him, because in his case I did just that, held on TOO tightly. 

This card is all about holding on tight. Since its a Four number & also Pentacles, we can relate it to material security & stability too. This is exactly what I am doing right now, & letting matters lose as well at the same time, because I believe I sometimes try to be too much in control of circumstances ..

Both How to & what to do are pentacles. I see that financial matters and stability, more practical approach is needed. Its really hard for me with Venus in Gemini but I have lot of Earth in me, so I just need to let loose.

4. Who is the partner for you.

Nine of Pentacles:

Interestingly, when I put y story or my goals in cards, Nine of Pentacles is always the card I put before 10 of Cups and 10 of Pentacles, these two cards being the ultimate goal of mine in terms of relationships. I want to be happy and care-free and financially well-off on my own, forming my own individual identity before I step in to a relationship. Now the same card is representing the man for me. This person is someone on-my-own type, which is BTW my type. This man is more a self-reliant type & is possibly enjoying the fruits of his labours right now & one thing he misses is Love.

Another reference that is made with this card is though, that of a person who is happily single. This actually worries me a bit, because when you are under the influence of Nine of Pentacles card, you just do not want to be in a relationship.

5. Where you will meet.

Nine of Cups:

The only place I can think when I look at this card is an exhibition. The Cups suit is also related to family & emotions, so someone in family is presenting something, may be a friend's celebration or something. 

6. When you will meet.

Emperor

The only Major arcana card in my spread which is easy to pin point the time since Emperor is associated with Aries. Sun will be moving to Aries in next month. Lets see what happens...

SUMMARY: 

There is the dominant suit of Pentacles, so despite the Nine of Pentacles as "HIM" I'm still thinking if it will be something long-term.

Love & Romance:
After the 9 of Pentacles effect from last month, this month it seems like I'm actually trying to conflict and win my own emotional side over while I'm actually the one at the losing end here. 5 of Swords is the card of empty victory. The Ace of Cups however suggests a new beginning this month once I'm done and I realize I cannot win them all. Ace of Cups is quite comforting in this position.

Like I said 30 days ago, Can't win them all. I tried & I tried but I lost. I hope the winner is happy. The Ace of Cups if the card I just pulled for next few months & it seems comforting. I can use a new beginning.

Work & Finance:
Eight of Cups is rightly there since in two weeks time my internship is ending and I will be looking for a better position as an employee somewhere. The Four of Swords however tells me I might have to wait till the next month to actually find something to do. Not very comforting.

Whatever I wrote above holds true to the bits. Internship finished, looking for a job, nothing happening yet. I'm upset!

Home & Family:
I see issues with father in this pair. The Knight is an aggressive young person who acts on impulse and fights for what he believes in but since the Emperor comes afterwards, it shows that structure and order will be restored or things will be too controlling and this getting on my nerves.

Some good days, some bad days. some issues with authorities due to my bluntness. I need to watch my tongue!

There is a complete lack of Pentacles in this reading which shows me some practicality and slower approach to the month is needed. Money and more practical matters should be focused more on. There is a higher number of Swords cards which shows thinking and intellect will be dominating this month.

I'm genuinely not happy with this month's reading! :(

Practice reading; Ex- contacting again

Question:

The ex- lover was contacting again. Client needed advice.

Reading:

Card 1 represents his action/intention
Card 2 represents what you should do
Card 3 represents the probable outcome

His action/Intention: Emperor:
The very first thing we associate with this card is protecting and defending. Emperor is a proud father who will let you have your way, but he will keep an eye on you. He is authoritative and he emphasises the importance of structure and being organized.
Here this card tells me he is doing this out of curiosity. The one association we make with this card is Aries which is the sign of curiosity, adventure and impulse. I think he contacted you on impulse, just to see if you are ok and then the usual curiosity "what is going on in your life?" .

Action: King of Wands
You are advised to not bother about him. The King in the picture is facing away from us, its like he is too busy in his own thoughts are looking around him and he does not care looking at us. The King is looking outwards, he is just ready to get off his throne and join the group or the fun he thinks he's been missing. This card advices you to ignore him, put your focus on more important things in life which make you happy and satisfied.

Outcome: King of Swords
This king is opposite to the King of Wands. He is staring directly at us, he looks cold, detached and he looks like he is very serious. He holds his sword in a way which reminds us that he is a very just person. This card talks about mental clarity, knowing what you have to do and how to do it. The suit of Swords is the suit of logic, reasoning, intelligence and analytical. You will gain these advantages in future. Simply put, you are better off without him and you will realize this soon enough.

You have one Major and two Kings in your spread which shouts "masculinity" , taking control and having self-esteem. You have to be Strong, mentally and emotionally. Two Kings also represent two well-developed, equal but opposite aspects of your self. Your one self (King of Wands) tells you to be curious in return and see if you can give him another chance , while the other half (King of Swords) glares at you and says firmly "NO" .

The Advice however is to ignore him and listen to the half which is saying NO.

Emperor is Fire, King of Wands is Fire and King of Swords is Air. This simply puts too much action and drive in your spread. Air and Fire mix really well and makes it a positive spread telling you to take a decision with reasoning and letting it go.

I will strongly advice you ignore the emails and if possible block him. Focus on other playful things around. There is lots of stuff going around you which can help you divert your attention.

Feedback:

Client confirmed that the ex- has been telling lies and in her heart she knows he has been. She said she believes it was better for her to leave it alone and move on with life because everytime she tries to heal, this person would show up again. She will not be able to make most of her life if he stays.

Week 12

I started my weekly draw with Tarot by drawing 7 cards and looking at them as a story.

Deck: Tower - Wheel of Fortune - Two of Pentacles - Emperor - Queen of Swords - Eight of Cups - Seven of Swords

The Emperor in the middle is like an emphasis on structure and organizing stuff this week.

The story is like there is some disruption because of an interruption of fate which brings too much on my plate, so I need to organize things and the clouds in Queen's card show some mental ambiguities which will make me search the missing part, wanting an escape while still being tied to what's left behind.

There are 3 cards from Major Arcana, looks like things are not really in my hands. The Swords are dominant among the minor arcana suits and this is an emphasis on analytical thinking and with mercury retrograde, the Seven of Swords looks like being haunted by thoughts from past, from which I find an escape. The suit of Wands is entirely missing which emphasises the Mars retrograde, and that leaves me totally dull and without any drive to act.

I would appreciate some thoughts if anyone has to add anything. I will update it next Sunday. Have a blessed week everyone!
