Week 15: Two of Cups

I have decided to pull a weekly card and then meditate on the card through the week and also see how it shows its energy in both my waking life and my dreams.

This card is of special importance this week. The very first reason is that few days ago I put the header picture on my blog, which has this very card in it. I put it there because this is my favourite card when I meditate for attracting love and abundance of support in my life. The second reason this card is important because this card appeared in my draw when I was in my last romantic relationship. It was very fulfilling and intense at very deep levels. Third, if you register on lotustarot.com site, they ask you if you would like to receive email from them which gives you meanings of a card. If you subscribe, you ocassionaly get an email with one card, randomly chosen and its meaning. The card are chosen at random because they hold a special message for you at that time. The card I received this week was, Yes, Two of Cups.

When I mediated on this card, I got forllowing meanings:

Union, Partnership, First meeting, Man making the move, Coming together.
Last night I saw that very man in the dream who I was in relationship with and pulled this card for us. Its strange but worth noting.

Last night again, I saw someone in my dream. This person is someone I don't know but he is usually in my dreams, helping me and supporting me. I remember calling him with names like "honey" and "darling" in the dream. This is when I say my dreams are becoming better than my realities.
The week for 2 of cups has been over today. This week I learnt a lot about adjustments, about seeing a new side of myself, which I have not yet worked completely with but we will try to live in the same body over next few months. I have started to learn basic things about putting the foundation for a life where I have to take responsibilities, make sacrifices, adjust and be kind and polite to others. I think I have taken my very first steps towards setting up a home and a family (just like the house in the background in this card). The task is hard, very hard, its actually making me bend down, but it seems like the universe really wants me to know that relationships require patience and sacrificing.

His action/Intention: Emperor:
The very first thing we associate with this card is protecting and defending. Emperor is a proud father who will let you have your way, but he will keep an eye on you. He is authoritative and he emphasises the importance of structure and being organized.
Here this card tells me he is doing this out of curiosity. The one association we make with this card is Aries which is the sign of curiosity, adventure and impulse. I think he contacted you on impulse, just to see if you are ok and then the usual curiosity "what is going on in your life?" .

Action: King of Wands
You are advised to not bother about him. The King in the picture is facing away from us, its like he is too busy in his own thoughts are looking around him and he does not care looking at us. The King is looking outwards, he is just ready to get off his throne and join the group or the fun he thinks he's been missing. This card advices you to ignore him, put your focus on more important things in life which make you happy and satisfied.

Outcome: King of Swords
This king is opposite to the King of Wands. He is staring directly at us, he looks cold, detached and he looks like he is very serious. He holds his sword in a way which reminds us that he is a very just person. This card talks about mental clarity, knowing what you have to do and how to do it. The suit of Swords is the suit of logic, reasoning, intelligence and analytical. You will gain these advantages in future. Simply put, you are better off without him and you will realize this soon enough.

You have one Major and two Kings in your spread which shouts "masculinity" , taking control and having self-esteem. You have to be Strong, mentally and emotionally. Two Kings also represent two well-developed, equal but opposite aspects of your self. Your one self (King of Wands) tells you to be curious in return and see if you can give him another chance , while the other half (King of Swords) glares at you and says firmly "NO" .

The Advice however is to ignore him and listen to the half which is saying NO.

Emperor is Fire, King of Wands is Fire and King of Swords is Air. This simply puts too much action and drive in your spread. Air and Fire mix really well and makes it a positive spread telling you to take a decision with reasoning and letting it go.

I will strongly advice you ignore the emails and if possible block him. Focus on other playful things around. There is lots of stuff going around you which can help you divert your attention.

Client confirmed that the ex- has been telling lies and in her heart she knows he has been. She said she believes it was better for her to leave it alone and move on with life because everytime she tries to heal, this person would show up again. She will not be able to make most of her life if he stays.

The Ace of swords is also the card of having a powerful mental clarity and analytical understanding. You will understand the root of the matter.

The Base card is what lies at the heart of the situation. 7 of Pentacles is the card where a man is standing, he is not sure whether he wants to move forward with his work , he is sure whether whatever he has done so far is right or wrong. This is a period of waiting and standing and analysing what you have done so far, is your strategy right? Are you happy and satisfied with what you have,

For your answer, I will say yes, there is a definite new chapter of your life turning up, but this one will bring lots of mental clarity with it. This agency you are joining, you will get a chance to analyse what was wrong with your life before (love life precisely) and what you need to do now. A word of warning though, the Aces are powerful but they are short-lived, if you wait too long, the energy will be lost so grasp the moment while you have it. Do not think for too long.

Week 12

I started my weekly draw with Tarot by drawing 7 cards and looking at them as a story.

Deck: Tower - Wheel of Fortune - Two of Pentacles - Emperor - Queen of Swords - Eight of Cups - Seven of Swords

The Emperor in the middle is like an emphasis on structure and organizing stuff this week.

The story is like there is some disruption because of an interruption of fate which brings too much on my plate, so I need to organize things and the clouds in Queen's card show some mental ambiguities which will make me search the missing part, wanting an escape while still being tied to what's left behind.

There are 3 cards from Major Arcana, looks like things are not really in my hands. The Swords are dominant among the minor arcana suits and this is an emphasis on analytical thinking and with mercury retrograde, the Seven of Swords looks like being haunted by thoughts from past, from which I find an escape. The suit of Wands is entirely missing which emphasises the Mars retrograde, and that leaves me totally dull and without any drive to act.

I would appreciate some thoughts if anyone has to add anything. I will update it next Sunday. Have a blessed week everyone!

fate at work!

Today's card:

This card talks about the fate at work. This card tells us there is a new chapter turning up and time does not remain the same forever, things change when the Wheel of Fortune turns. The Wheel is in the clouds, like its something happening in the skies, not the Earth, something out of our control.

This is exactly what happened. I was working till 4:30am to complete my project document and next day when I opened the online management system for submitting it, I  encountered an error which stated I could not open my account and only Administrator could do that. I was too late in submission. This was definitely bad luck because I was ready with my document and I was all set to submit within due date, but I just ran out of luck!

Creativity Magic!

The card I had drawn for today was:

This card tells us that we have the tools, we have the power, we have what we need, now its up to us what we make out of it. The card speaks about the mental power and the symbol of infinity on top of the man's head emphasizes the fact that we are capable of doing things we don't even know. The four elements symbols are placed in front of him on the table and he is called the Magician because he can carry out the creativity magic!

I've been pretty much upset about my project and how to start it. Last night was a mess because I was totally confused, and everything was messed up because of two things: 1) I did not know which tool I should use for the web site's design 2) The last date for submitting the GUI design is 12th March. 
I was sure there is no way I can figure this one out. I slept at 3am, and I was coding even in dreams. I said lots of prayers before sleeping. My power of faith was telling me everything will be ok.
This morning when I pulled out the Magician card, I knew everything is going to be ok today. That is what happened, I figured a way out to complete my tasks and amazingly I'm done with the interface diagrams. Magic!

Ace of Sword

The card I pulled for today was:

My book gives a very beautiful description, by saying that the Ace of Swords is double-edged and so can cut both ways: constructively, to cut away the dead wood; or destructively, to harm or force a situation. With this card you feel powerful and in control. The situation you're in may have risen out of a more difficult one, but now you hold the cards, so to speak. You've got focus and logic on your side and the strength to see your project past difficulties to its conclusion.

I used the Sword both ways. I snapped twice while talking to someone and I was pretty much hot-tempered today. On the other hand I was frustrated today because of my project's work but many things got sorted because I was working with dedication and logic. What actually reminded me this card was when I was so tempted by this photo which I saw on line. Its so majestic and I'm loving it.

Page of Wands again!

The Page of Wands appeared for me few days ago and it brought me a news.

Today again, it brought me another news, through a phone call. The news was about family (I expected a Page of Cups) but it was not a good news, rather something that was done in a haste. I also heard about an accident.

busy day!

Today's card:

This was one hell of busy day at home. I was constantly trying to keep my temper in check and I was constantly losing it. Besides that my best friend was complaining in evening "are you ignoring me?" because, I actually was not able to keep a balance.

The message of this card is the act of balancing and having fun while tossing around and juggling the tasks we have to perform daily and this is what I was supposed to do and this is what I could not do!
