Sleeping Beauty Relationship Spread

Since I have been dating but it leads to nowhere, it gets me thinking what is going so wrong and where the hell is "he" who is meant to be mine forever & with whom things will be all magical? I have been trying to take advice from tarot & my spirit guides for opening myself to love but its just not happening.

I decided to ask the cards once again using the Sleeping Beauty Relationship Spread designed by ArwenNightstar  here:

The first two cards show that basically its introspection & inaction which is keeping me still. It is true because for last four months I have not been socialising much, except for two weeks in Aug-Sep when I was busy with family holiday. Apart from that I am not putting myself out there which is reinforced in the Third card, what I need to know. I have to be out there if I want love to come & find me. The Sun further clarifies that a sense of freedom, putting an end to staleness & instead having fun will bring romance in my life. I need to take control & look through the clouds & veil of mystery in the High Priestess card to see where I have to be. I will need to put an end to a cycle, a call for ending whatever I have been going through, & finally face my fears. The Moon card as the outcome card shows that I have to face my fears this way. I will be bewildered & finding myself overwhelmed but its important. This is the feeling you get when you wake up from dreams like Three of Cups.

Autumn Equinox Spread from Tarot Thrones blog

Autumn is officially here & I saw this simple yet effective spread here & decided to try it out for myself:

Card 1: This is where I am unbalanced and SHORT/DEFICIENT

The Ace of wand is the sheer will power & a creative idea that all of sudden hits you like a bolt. 

This card tells me that I'm currently lacking my drive, my will power & an idea that will immediately take me out on a new adventure. The aces are the beginning of something & they tell me that I need to take charge, be in control & have the courage to take things head on. I'm an Aries Sun & Mercury so it totally means being in my own shoes, which I usually am, but these days I lack direction, This card tells me to take the risk, fall for it & fall hard. Its really ironic though, taking out Ace of Wands with the green leaves beginning to bud out, while we entered Autumn.

Card 2: This is where I am unbalanced and OVER-ENDOWED

This is my card of running away or escapism. This card tells me that I am trying to run away from something I should instead deal with. This card is also a card of deception. I should stop myself from running from the issues and instead make sure I know what I'm doing & what issues I have & deal with them.

Card 3: This Court brings me back into balance:

So I lack Ace of Wand & I am escaping my issues, this brings me to Knight of Wands which is also Aries in my books. So all I need to do is be myself. Sun is currently in Libra, right opposite to my sign & I should be taking the matter heads on instead of escaping them.

This Knight in my books is very adventurous. In this picture we can see he is all set & probably with full force, ready to go out on an adventure. I think I should have some more fun, be courageous, knowing that I can have what I want.

This spread has summed the situation very well for me. I think its telling me that I need to be back in my usual form, my usual Aries energy, even though the Autumn is here, I can still have my Spring on the go...

About him!

Recent Pluto retrograde transits brought some people from past, some people I was obsessed with, back into my life. I felt my intuition quite high today so I asked a few questions about a particular person:

1. Does he has feelings for me:

10 of Wands & Queen of Pentacles

Ten of Wands is my No card because there is too much going on in that person's mind. He is actually a very responsible kind of man & he has lots of responsibilities. This combination shows that he has responsibilities or burdens towards her family, mother in particular. Its like he has to work for bringing food on the table. No room for romance in this man's life apparently.

2. Will there be a long term relationship with this man:

The Lovers & Two of Cups

I have pulled these cards again for this man. I last time pulled these cards for what he wants. It looks like there is a reconciliation in store for us, & we will meet again, this time as lovers.

3. What stops him from approaching me:
Ten of Pentacles & Eight of Cups

The man in the Eight of Cups is leaving the beautiful scenery of Ten of Pentacles behind. It looks like he has had some financial security, a happy family time but now he is leaving on another quest which is why he is not contacting me. I'm not sure if he has recently started a new job or anything but I believe he is looking for something & when he has found it, he will return to me.

My Tarot Yes/No list

Most of times we are looking for a Yes/No answer, Period. Whether they are a good form or question or not, that is not the concern when you are so desperate to know where you stand, black or white, no greys.

Tarot is always more accurate when you have your own associations with it. You can not & should not use a random search on Google for keywords or yes/no answers for a card you pulled. You should have your own meanings, keywords, time frames, Yes/No attribute associated with each card so that your subconscious may register which card means what to you.

The Moon:

 Maybe. Caution is advised. Deception or self-delusion could be indicated. This card is not one of my favourite cards. There is an element of delusion, fear & strange passions in this card. I think either I'm too afraid of love or I'm just having an illusion of love, but may be no true love for me or when I have it, I'm just too scared to accept it.

This card looks like more like an unexpected situation that kind of bewilders you.

2) Will the attraction be instant or a slow-burning realization?

Seven of wands:

Wands is fire, & fire is passion & impulsive but this card shows a man struggling & working hard. so I believe it will be more of a struggle which explains the card 1.

3) What will this person be like physically?

The World

Lean, thin, complete, a balanced & complete package (hehe)

4) What will this person be like emotionally?

Ace of Cups

I see he is too emotional & it explains the card 1 & 2. If he is too emotional that will automatically make me confused & thus, the struggle.

5) Are there issues the querent needs to deal with that are delaying a meeting/relationship with this person?

Judgement

I need to start over. I need to let go, forgive & forget, leave the past behind & start a complete life over. I'm just about there.

6) Are there issues this person needs to deal with that are preventing a meeting/relationship?

King of Cups

He seems too emotional to me that is why so many emotional water cards coming up. This card also shows he needs to keep his emotional side in check.

7) When/where/how will the querent meet this person?

The Magician

Some place fun, creative & where there is everything available and you have to make something out of it. Some skill learning class or a place where you are the centre of attention.

I pulled an extra card for timing & I got Temperance which rules Sagittarius. We are about to enter Sagittarius period in about two months. Lets see what happens.

5/8 cards are major arcana which shows me things are out of my hands & there is destiny & major events happening in the regard. There is a complete absence of Pentacles & Swords which shows there is a need for logical thinking & practicality.

My Tarotscope for September 2012

1. Love & romance:
Ten of Swords & Seven of Cups:

Ending + Options = new beginning
Ten of swords is the card of ending of a bad situation.Number ten also talks about completion of a cycle & a new beginning. The Seven of Cups however bores a warning that when the new cycle begins, the foundation should be laid on strong practical thoughts and not just day dreaming. The 7 of Cups also suggests there will be some choices,options & alternatives presenting themselves, but I need to be careful about them.

This turned out to be pretty accurate, I guess I am going through a bad rough patch in terms of romance. The end actually came & the new beginning too, but I realized it was just my day dream, & nothing real!

2. Home & family:
Five of Swords & The Devil

Empty victory + Addiction = watch your tongue
Five of Swords is verbal arguments that result in the empty victory. This card normally appears when you have won a battle but you end up questioning yourself if it was worth it. The Devil next to it shows that I will probably find myself being addictive to this empty victory & having verbal battles which I might win, but they will not be worth it.

These cards also were true with the fact that I was more verbal than usual & I won plenty many times, but again, may be the arguments were not worth it & I should have watched out.

3. Work & finances:
Empress & Temperance

Growth + Patience = Slow but steady growth
Two major cards in this area show that there is destiny at work here. Empress is all about expansion & growth & a time of abundance while Temperance advices to slow down, have patience. Temperance for work also suggests mixing & matching one's talents and skills to achieve the growth that is required.

There have been one positive glimpse of hope, I have applied for an intern ship I'm hoping to get. But I have to be very patient.

General:
I can see the work & Finances should be the focus of the month because this area seems to be flourishing. As far the love & family life are concerned, there are warning for that.

Will he come back, Part 2

This spread is becoming one of my favourites. This reading was done for a couple who have been out of each other's lives for about 7 yrs and have met again. S wanted to know if they can be back together or anything further than just being nice to each other can happen between them.

Will he come back spread

1. Your motivation – The first card shows you the real underlying reason for your desire to reconnect. It indicates if you want them back to soothe a bruised ego or if there is true love there. It tells you if you feel that you didn’t learn all you needed to learn or if you are just struggling with letting go.

In this position we have Eight of Swords. Eight of Swords is my card for misunderstandings which need to be sorted out. This is the card which shows when one person needs to explain themselves or get some questions answered but it does not happen mainly because there are inhibitions. With this card here, I do not think she wants him because she loves him, but mainly because she has some unresolved issues with this guy.

2. & 3. What you had – These two cards represent the relationship dynamic you had in the past and sheds further light on the first card.

We have Tower & Five of Swords in this position. Tower is a shock or an unforeseen event that destroyed everything,however, it did make one of them very happy. May be one of them was happy to destroy the other's life.  The Five of Swords is a card of betrayal, where one person wins the other person but its not worth it. This explains the card 1. There have been issues in the past which affected one of them badly (possibly her) & thus she needs to release herself from that. She needs to know why it all suddenly fell apart.

4. The handle – This card shows you what action you would need to take to reconnect. 

Five of Wands is the card of competition & discussion. This card in this position shows that she might have to fight for his attention, there may be someone else in his life right now, & she will have to face some competition but this card is also about success after struggle. Challenges are ahead & the only way to him is through this.

5. The lock – This is the main challenge/obstacle that lies between you and your AWOL lover.

Seven of Swords, there is evasive behavior on both sides. Thiings cannot simply improve till you stand up & fight for it as explained in the Handle position. This card is also about deception & lies. 

6. An outside influence currently affecting the situation – No need to elaborate.

Five of Pentacles, mainly financial losses or unfavourable situation. This person may be too pre occupied with his financial position right now. 

7. 8. & 9. What lies on the other side of the door – If you know that it is best not to push through, you’ll at least have some idea of what is happening there and why things are best left alone.

Three of Cups - Queen of Swords & Two of Cups

There is a wonderful indication here that things will end in happiness & basically reconciliation between them, if she chooses to unlock the door. 

10. The key – If you received a green light for using that door handle, then this is the key that unlocks the lock and gives you the understanding you need to open the door.

The Lovers
The ultimate card for love & romantic relationships. This card is also associated with choices, but I take it as passionate love, & not choices.

Overall we can see there have been some misunderstandings & some hurtful feelings & grudges from the past. This is the reason she needs a reconnection to release the grudge & talk things through. She can do this by discussing, brainstorming & confronting the situations however the challenge is the fight to let it be and move on silently. There is also a factor of financial problems effecting the situation. However, if she succeeds in opening the door, I see there is a better chance for them being friends & potentially lovers too. The key to unlocking the door is love, a choice & a decision. She chooses to take him back or not.
